“In 2023, I had just graduated from Portsmouth University, and I then moved to Norfolk with my family. I had just set up my video games development company with my partner, and I expected Norfolk to be a quiet and rather isolated part of my business journey, compared to university.

It quickly became apparent that I had assumed wrong. I discovered an amazing community of game developers here in the region. Through groups like the Norfolk Game Developers, I’ve met, worked with and become friends with so many like-minded business owners and individuals.

Norfolk has also provided me with an incredible amount of business support, from my first small grant by MENTA, to having my games showcased in London through Game Anglia.

Finally, for those looking to start a games company in Norfolk, Norwich is home to one of the largest free to showcase, free to attend games festivals in the UK. I had an amazing time showing our motion capture technology to the public!”
